Finally got down to creating a blog for myself... have been planning to do so for ages but just didn't have the time to do so... while here i am haha!!! The purpose of having a blog is for my friends, family and loved ones to stay updated about my life when i leave for Beijing for 2 years to study. Just the thought of it makes me sad and nostalgic. Yucks!!!
While, it was a bad week i've had, really looking forward to a better week ahead. Pls god, make my life better... it has been generally full of upsets since the start of the year. The floorball league started out on a pretty bad note, i think i really failed to step up my game and it left me feeling like a failure to a certain extent... it was certainly a feeling i would want to avoid as much as possible. I hate having to dwell on what i could have done better after the match... its distracting and difficult to deal with... its was like rubbing salt into my wounds sustained from the disappointment of the IVP game. Makes me just wanna quit floorball. But i ain't no quitter!
Also, recently i realised there are alot of unanswered questions in my life. My family history seems more complex than i have thought, but none of the adults seem to want to talk about it. I guess that is how the older generation handles emotions... they just don't like talking about the past, especially when the history involved are the melancholy type. While, i understand that some stuffs are hard to narrate, and it probably wasn't nice to have told me when i was younger since i wouldn't have really understood fully... but now im like 21 years of age... i think i have every right to know. More importantly, after being through so much, i finally understood the importance of family ties and i strongly believe that your family history is somehow or rather a part of you... being ignorant or nonchalent about it really does not help.
Haha okay serious stuff aside... can someone pls pls pls end the writer's strike in hollywood?! I starving from the lack of dramas... I need my weekly dose of grey's anatomy, prison break and gossip girl!!! Luckily, one tree hill and prison break are back on track... so looking forward to the release of the next episode of prison break in the US haha! One tree hill has been really good in the new season (s5) thus far... hope it continues to be good haha
Oh yar have i mentioned this? IM SO EXCITED ABOUT CNY this year... firstly, there's gonna be a long break for cny, secondly my long-time-no-see relatives from Malaysia will be visiting... i love it whenever they come to Singapore to celebrate cny with us... My whole extended family always seems much closer than normal with them around, i think its because we'll all make the effort to gather, show them around and make them feel at home. It was about 5 years since i last saw them...
Okay enough of typing...*yawn* time for bed!!!
