Rise and shine...

Rise and shine... woke up early on a Sunday. Haha i think its true that you sleep less as you get older. As usual, this week was busy again, having to return to work on saturday even. Thats why i am only blogging today. Somehow i do enjoy being busy with work than having nothing to do... i am a workaholic hee:P

Its been 9 days since my parents depart for europe. I am missing them quite badly already. Hope they come back soon.

Besides i think that there was a reason for me landing up in this NUS lab (external FYP). I think god wanted me to see the other side of PRCs, especially when i am about to leave for beijing really soon. I use to kinda get really irritated with their behaviour. Therefore, i started sterotyping most of them. However, my times in this lab filled with PRCs proved me wrong. They are just like us in anyway. I probably thought they were unfriendly initially as they were not fast to warm-up to people. But once you know them, get to work and talk to them, they are really just like any other person that you will befriend readily. ... Anyway, i am not saying that ALL of them are like these nice friends i met in the lab. Rude and bashful people exist everywhere, in any race and demographics. So your really can't generalise. People are essentially the same everywhere.

Talking about China, its sad to see the victims in the sichuan earthquake suffer. Its upsetting to see the death toll increase every day. Especially when the majority of deceased was little kids who still have a bright future ahead of them. Its even more devastating to see thousands of kids orphaned after this disaster. One can only imagine the trauma and the psychological problems they are and will be facing in the future. The only positive impact the disaster had on china is probably how everyone came together and work relentlessly to save lives and allievate suffering conditions. It was definitely a heart-warming sight to see a country and its people unite in the face of adversity. This is what i call compassion.

On the other hand, the myanmar cyclone disaster does not seem to be doing as well. Politically wise, they are in a mess with ultra-corrupted leaders pocketing the donations to help the victims of the disaster. SERIOUSLY, i cannot understand why these leaders can be so GREEDY, SELFISH and so LACK OF BASIC COMPASSION! Their people are suffering like hell and dying every minute and all they can do is to pocket the "life-saving" money. How can someone be so cruel? People like them plus that idiotic dubai guy who swallowed the NKF donation funds
piss me off totally. Corruption is already disgusting enough, corruption that takes advantage of the victims, the needies and the poor is unforgivable. I believe in karma and i believe in retribution. These people will live a terrible life with the sins they have committed and they will have a terrible ending.

Okay enough of stuffs that boils my blood, and back to my life. I am so sian that most my english tv dramas have reached their finales. The next season only starts on august or september. Meanwhile i will have to suffer withdrawal symptoms of the lack of my fav shows haha. SO SIAN!!!

Okay signing off... breakfast time!!!
